Many years ago, flowing in the river of time, there was a huge fire.
An enormous fire. Massive and strong.
And the wind transferred it from branch to branch, from tree to tree, and into the fields, and the fire burned and burned for many days until the wind calmed down, the temperatures lowered, and only whispering coals were left. Whispering and whispering until they too, went out one by one.
The vast, enormous, strong fire was out.
Silence and quietness fell on the smoking grounds.
From time to time, the sound of a falling branch, rolling and breaking, thundered the stillness.
Then, within those quiet moments, a delicate, subtle sound of a spring, carving its way out of the ground, was heard.
Its waters wanted to flow out, and they carved their way out into the surface of the earth.
First, washing the ashes around, surprised how, from clear and pure, they became cloudy and murky.
Its power, the water’s force, kept pushing, and the muddy drops turned into a light stream.
And the flow craved its way and the clarity of the water returned.
The water enjoying the warming sun, meeting them with a smile, and the gentle breath of wind.
For a moment, the water and stream stopped in their place, and a small pool was created, and then they chose their direction and continued their movement.
Little animals that escaped the fire, hiding deep under the burning ground, peeked their heads out and found their way to the stream, drinking its fresh waters, refreshing, relaxing.
And little seeds, within the earth, on the stream’s path, were filled, covered, awakened.
They put down their roots.
They sprout.
New lives begin.
