The Hidden Worlds by Sandra Ingerman and Katherine Wood is a book for teens who are walking spirituality or who are intrigued by it.

A short yet compelling read.

It describes a journey taken by four 7th graders in physical reality. In parallel, they are guided by power animals who show up in their dreams.

In this book, Sandra Ingerman and Katherine Wood offer teens a glimpse into how our power animals and their guidance can influence our literal physical reality. Offering healing, friendship, and transformation.

Children and teens journey in shamanic and astral journeys. Their imagination takes them soaring to many other dimensions of our reality.

This story offers the sharing of an experience that does happen in reality.

Moreover, to those teens who journey without knowing what’s happening or how real the guidance they receive is, such books are a crucial confirmation.

A confirmation that what they know is true, that it is guidance to listen to, and more than anything, a confirmation that what they experience is also experienced by others.

The Hidden Worlds is an important book for spiritually aware teens to read. Parents may enjoy it too.

There is one downside to this story that actually comes from its depth.

While many children and teens journey, many of them don’t go as far as receiving such concrete and detailed guidance.

For most, the journeying is lighter, a comforting place, a place of exploration and being.

Thus, a shared reading, reflecting that for some, journeying can come with very literal information, as described in the book, while for others, it might serve them differently, or they may need to slowly progress in their ability, can be significant.

Otherwise, such powerful guidance may seem to some as the fruit of their imagination—when it is so much more.
