My Dear Me,
Share the beauty. Share being love.
Don’t let anyone pull you back. What happened yesterday will happen again, and you need to trust your heart continuously. Others will eagerly want to hear about your near-death experience, and as soon as you start talking about it, they will shift the conversation elsewhere.
Some will need a very intimate setting to hear you, creating an environment where no one else is present. Where they can relate and often share something similar that they experienced, an out-of-body experience or a divine connection with a loved one that has passed on.
Others will be so overwhelmed by the idea of life in the beyond that they, captured in the physical, will not be able to hear you.
Don’t take it personally. Trust that even if it seems like someone asked and then ignored you, a seed has been planted. And seeds take their own time to sprout.
The more years go by, the more I share my story, the more I learn how to share and what to share with each listener.
It is often so far beyond me. The words I choose to share surprising even me, but touching precisely on my listeners’ own adventures.
Humans are eager to know about the beyond. It is revealing a secret we all keep from ourselves. The secret of who we really are – energy, spiritual, and pure love. And the younger they are, the more they walk with the innate understanding of being more than their physical body.
So share. Share the beauty. Share the wonder, and the tranquility, and being love. Share also the complexity. The challenge of believing yourself that this indeed happened, but then it being so true you cannot ignore it.
It is within your cells. Share with others that if it’s hard for them to hear about it, they can maybe sense how hard it is to feel it after growing up in a rational academic environment. Share the confusion, share the gap between the ordinary reality and that of the divine.
Within this challenge of figuring out who really wants to hear and who is just touching on it to allow the planting of a deep seed, there are two elements I always share…
(1) We are beyond our physical being.
(2) We are love. You. I. Everyone around us. The animals and the plants. Don’t ever forget that.
Sending a bubble of light…

While writing these Notes (I wish) I Wrote to Myself, I found myself bringing the teachings offered by my parenting journey and Near Death Experience into writing. The result is The Promise We Made: Three Universal Soul Promises We Made to Our Children 🙂
